Sour Cream Potato Bake

1 lb ground beef
1 (26 oz.) bag of frozen Sour Cream & Chives Baked Potato Quick Sides
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 ¼ cups chopped green onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Brown meat. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add salt, pepper, garlic, and tomato sauce.
  4. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add a cup of green onion. Simmer mixture for another minute and then set aside.
  6. Put whole bag of Baked Potato Quick Sides into a 9x13 baking dish.
  7. Pour beef mixture on top of potato.
  8. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  9. Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Sprinkle the rest of green onion on top and bake for 15 more minutes.
  10. Serve.
